Rashid Yunus
Rashid's affiliation with drumming started at an early age through growing up in a little village community in West Malaysia where drumming and chanting were part of the village's rituals. He is the co-founder of one of Malaysia's prominent R&B band, the Blues Gang and prior to his arrival in Australia he was a recording artist with WEA Records.
Since 1995 Rashid has been involved in performing and facilitating African drumming workshops at various festivals, community events, schools and organizations in New South Wales, South Australia and Victoria.
He is now continuing his journey as rhythm catalyst in the Sunshine Coast, Queensland.
